Free mp3 set 1

It is the weekend and I’m feeling kinda generous today, so here are 6 mp3s for you from my collection:

Stay tuned for more freebies, resources and etc. I’ll try to post at least once every week. At least Tumblr is being much more reliable and better than f***in’ Blogchex.

Best mp3 paysite yet

If you don’t mind paying for your mp3s (legally of course), you should head over to mp3sparks. They are cheap, fast, good, reliable. I have been with them for 3 years now and not experienced a single problem.

What is the reason I sometimes choose to pay for my music?

Well, firstly I can be sure that what I’m downloading doesn’t contain any viruses, spyware or other unwanted junk.

Secondly, the quality of the music is much better. With free music, you don’t really have a choice regarding what bitrate the file is in; when you pay to download, most sites offer a “high-quality file download” option.

Lastly, it’s just more convenient. I don’t have to worry about whether the connection will be disrupted halfway (as is the case with many free downloads, especially from those from P2P and bit torrent sites), whether the file I’ve downloaded is corrupted or faulty, whether the file I’m downloading really is the file I’m looking for (many freely available music files are wrongly labelled, or are remixes), etc etc.

I rest my case. I’ll try to post more music resources in the upcoming weeks as I’ll be having a short break.

Stay tuned!

F*** Blogchex

I had to start all over again because Blogchex deleted my account and all my posts for no reason at all. Later on I learned it happened to all the old Blogchex users. Some people even had hundreds of posts and a huge amount of earnings.

I’m not pissed at losing the so-called earnings I had (it was a paltry sum anyway); I’m pissed at losing all the posts I put up there, because that was sort of my resource site and I had links to tons of music-related sites there (I’m a music phreak, deal with that) and now they are all gone!

I am really losing my trust in people/things/companies/whatever these days.

Thankfully though, I haven’t yet lost my trust in the stage. Ironically, only the stage is real.

Guess I’ll have to slowly build up all my ammunition and firing power again. Sigh.
